On Thursday, a slightly excited atmosphere prevailed at PS Automation: the last actuators were finished and packed, parcels sent to the customers, rejection notes posted. Thursday was the last working day of the week as the annual staff outing took place on Friday.
As every year, the destination of the excursion was democratically chosen by a vote of the entire college. From many interesting suggestions, the majority of employees chose a joint breakfast followed by a hike. Based in Bad Dürkheim, the PSA has many beautiful hiking routes right on its doorstep. The choice fell on an ascent of the “Drachenfels”.
On the way to the “Drachenfels” we enjoyed the views and the beautiful nature of the Palatinate Forest (Pfälzerwald). With 571 m above sea level it is one of the highest peaks in the Palatinate Forest Nature Park and offers an impressive view. After a short rest at the hiking hut Lambertzkreuz we went back to the starting point. The pleasant day ended with a delicious Palatine meal in the forest restaurant “Zum Saupferch”.
From today on we are there for you again!
