The 1st men’s team, which has been successfully playing in the fourth highest division in German handball, the Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz/Saar (OL-RPS) for 3 years, has been wearing updated jerseys with a new logo of PS Automation GmbH since this year. As a long-time sponsor of HSG Eckbachtal, PS Automation provided these new jerseys for the Gekkos.
The HSG Eckbachtal is a merger of TSV Freinsheim, ATB Heuchelheim, TUS Laumersheim and call themselves the Gekkos. All youth teams are coached by active and former Hanball players.
