The requirement we faced from a customer in August 2021 was to place 5 linear actuators on a manifold with special valves in the IECEx required hazardous area.
In various discussions and technical design meetings, we succeeded to find a customised adaptation for our PSF-M405-EX actuator for use at a LNG terminal.
During the development period of about 11 months, we passed the IECEx certification without objection. Meanwhile various long-term tests were carried out to be ready for use in the loading and unloading at this special terminal.
